In 1974, as Muhammad Ali and George Foreman were preparing to ‘‘Rumble in the Jungle,’’ the promoters scheduled a music festival for the capital city of Zaire, with headliners James Brown and B.B. King sharing the stage with African artists like the legendary Miriam Makeba. Jeffrey Levy-Hinte’s documentary resurrects the footage from the vaults.
