The 2012 Soul Train Awards were taped on Nov. 8 and aired on the BET and Centric networks on Nov. 25. The show included performances by singers like Stevie Wonder, Miguel, Keyshia Cole, and New Edition.

Kanye West’s song “Mercy,” which features Big Sean, Pusha T, and 2 Chainz (pictured), won the Best Hip Hop Song of the Year award.

2 Chainz accepted the award for best hip hop song of the year on behalf of fellow artists Kanye West, Pusha T and Big Sean for the song “Mercy.”
Fantasia Barrino performed Aretha Franklin’s “Don’t Play That Song for Me” at the award show.
Miguel, who picked up the award for best R&B/soul male artist, performed his hit “Adorn.”
Keyshia Cole performed her current singles, “Trust and Believe,” and “Enough of No Love.”
