There are the less well-known songs written by friends like Eddie Vedder’s winsome “Without You,” a down-and-dirty take on Patty Griffin’s “Silver Bell,” and singer-songwriter Dan Wilson’s burbling pop gem “Free Life.” There are offbeat tracks she simply loves including a Jeff Buckley track.
