Rock picks

The irrepressible Mary Lou Lord is at the Middle East Downstairs tonight, backed by labelmates Gingersol, who also play an opening set. Tomorrow, the Tarbox Ramblers bring their danceable, retro-rocking blues to T.T. the Bear's for a CD release party. Regal folkie Nanci Griffith is at Berklee Performance Center tomorrow, preceded by the gospel-tinged Ollabelle. And the Middle East has quite a night tomorrow: a reunion of the Bogs downstairs and the fifth "Shaun and Suzi's Mardi Gras Ball" upstairs, starring a bevy of local acts such as Laurie Sargent, Paula Kelley, Chris Mascara, Rick Berlin, Mick Mondo, and more. On Sunday, Scottish folk singer Dougie MacLean (formerly of the Tannahill Weavers and Silly Wizard) headlines the Somerville Theatre.
