CLASSICAL

'Tis the 'Seasons'

Email|Print| Text size + By Luke O'Neil
Globe Correspondent / January 1, 2008

If you forced us to come up with the name of two classical music pieces, we would probably be able to think of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" and J.S. Bach's "Wedding Cantata, BWV 202." Anything beyond that, and we're doomed. Boston Baroque, under the direction of Martin Pearlman (below) presents a performance of these two classics today at their First Day concert featuring Baroque violin virtuoso Christina Day Martinson and soprano Amanda Forsythe. 3 p.m. $29-69. Sanders Theatre, 45 Quincy St., Cambridge. 617-484-9200. bos tonbaroque.org
