The 1980s tribute act Split Infinity does such a good cover of the Simple Minds' anthem "Don't You (Forget About Me)" that at some point during the band's performance of the song you may start to believe that it's 1985, that you're in love with a redhead named Molly, and that it's OK to wear fingerless gloves. You can hear "Don't You" at Split Infinity's gig tonight at Felt. You'll also hear covers of songs by Huey Lewis, Prince, Rick Springfield, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, and Motley Crüe. Yes, the band's singer is male. 9 p.m. Free. Felt, 533 Washington St., 617-350-5555. feltboston.com
