BAUHAUS, "Go Away White" (March 4) To the delight of unnaturally pale music fans, the Brit gloom-meisters reunited after 22 years for a 2005 tour. But Bauhaus has broken up again. The group reformed long enough to record this comeback/farewell album.

BLACK CROWES, "Warpaint" (March 4) Although the once-warring Robinson brothers long ago patched things up, it has been seven years since they've released a studio album. On March 5 they will perform the album in its entirety at the Somerville Theatre. (Tickets go on sale Friday.)

Q-TIP, "The Renaissance" (March 11) In the nine years since his solo debut, "Amplified," Tip has weathered record-company woes (including two unreleased discs) and one devastating fire, and he made lots of cameo appearances along with mounting a brief reunion of A Tribe Called Quest. The influential MC is back to "work it out."

THE B-52S, "Funplex" (March 25) It's been 16 years since fans have had some of that "good stuff," but positive buzz around the Georgia quartet's new album is building.

MY BLOODY VALENTINE (TBA) Details are blurry at the moment, but the seminal shoe gazers recently announced that after a 17-year hiatus they will release some combination of old and new material, and likely tour, in '08.
