Kinder, gentler Manson?

Email|Print| Text size + By Nick A. Zaino III
Globe Correspondent / January 26, 2008

Remember when Marilyn Manson was all edgy and dangerous, doing controversial things with flags and doo-doo and saying things that made all the really uptight folks mad? He's never been more popular (he sold out London's Wembley Arena last year), and Manson and guitarist Twiggy Ramirez were giving out romantic advice on "Loveline" last week. We're not sure if that means he's mellowed or if that's the creepiest thing he's ever done. He's at the Orpheum Theatre tonight with Ours, presumably playing music. 7:30 p.m. $39.50-$55. The Orpheum Theatre, 1 Hamilton Place, Boston. 617-931-2000. livenation.com
