Leslie Howard

Email|Print| Text size +
January 28, 2008

It took pianist Leslie Howard 97 CDs to record the complete piano music of Franz Liszt. And just to break things up, he has recorded more than 30 non-Liszt-themed CDs. With a resume like that, it's hard to imagine anyone more qualified to be part of the Boston Conservatory's Piano Master series, which includes Howard's show tomorrow at Seully Hall. He will play selections from Balakirev, Borodin, Glazunov, and Rachmaninoff, including the latter's "Piano Sonata No. 2." 8 p.m. Free. Seully Hall at the Boston Conservatory, 8 The Fenway, Boston. 617-536-6340. bostonconservatory.edu
