'Scamper's Last Waltz'

Email|Print| Text size +
February 1, 2008

Local rockers Scamper are breaking up, not because of "creative differences" or the pressure of touring or any of the normal rock 'n' roll reasons. According to bassist Brendan Boogie, "All of our rock 'n' roll dreams have come true in this band, so we can say goodbye with no regrets." They say goodbye tomorrow at the Middle East Downstairs with a cavalcade of one-word bands - Aloud, Harris, and Baker - with "Scamper's Last Waltz." If you need a continuing Scamper fix, you can watch for the Brendan Boogie Band, which will play Great Scott on the 13th. 18+ 9 p.m. $10, Middle East Downstairs, 480 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge. 617-864-3278. mideastclub.com
