Dianne Reeves, Terence Blanchard, and Donal Fox are among the artists who will perform at the 2008 Tanglewood Jazz Festival, which takes place Aug. 29-31 in Seiji Ozawa Hall in Lenox. Tickets for the entire Tanglewood season go on sale Sunday.

Opening the festival Friday night is Colombian harpist Edmar Castaneda and his trio, and pianist Eliane Elias performing a tribute to Bill Evans. On Saturday afternoon, Marian McPartland celebrates her 90th birthday at the seventh annual live taping of "Piano Jazz" for NPR.

Saturday night's concert features pianist and composer Fox performing his Scarlatti Jazz Suite Project with trumpeter Christian Scott, followed by vocalist Reeves.

Clarinetist and saxophonist Eddie Daniels and his quartet will open Sunday afternoon's concert, which continues with "Hot Swing," a set from violinist Mark O'Conner and special guest Jane Monheit in her Tanglewood debut.

Sunday night's closing concert is a Tanglewood exclusive: trumpeter and composer Blanchard, accompanied by a 30-piece orchestra, will perform music from this year's Grammy-winning album "A Tale of God's Will (A Requiem for Katrina)."

Ticket prices vary; for information, visit tanglewoodjazzfestival.org or call 617-266-1492. Tickets are available online at tangle wood.org, by phone at 888-266-1200, or at the Symphony Hall box office.
