"Jimmy," M.I.A. A lo-fi tribute to the power of post-effects: old-school trippy with cheesy lights and a Tetris vibe.

"Rainin in Paradize," Manu Chao A potent montage of black-and-white newsreel footage from war torn, poverty-ravaged countries.

"Can't Tell Me Nothin'," Kanye West (as visually reinterpreted by the inimitable Zach Galifianakis) Tractors and hay bales, cornfields and clog dancing, and Zach. Must be seen to be appreciated.

"Stuck Between Stations," the Hold Steady A band stands around in a rehearsal space and starts playing a song. A good song. What a concept.

"Sun Lips," Black Moth Super Rainbow Hefty garbage bags and dead rodents . . . this is a twisted recipe for a disturbing bit of budget filmmaking.

"Myriad Harbour," New Pornographers Beautiful, surreal animation starring Dan Bejar's flowing beard and locks. Redefines hair band.

"I Feel It All," Feist A bunch of spark-spewing barrels and a big stick is all a big-hearted girl needs to make her feelings known.
