In 1958, a club opened in Harvard Square that launched the careers of Bob Dylan and Joan Baez, Tom Rush, Jimmy Buffett, and Howlin' Wolf. Club 47 changed its commitment to folk music. At "Looking Back: 50 Years of Coffee House," you'll hear stories about the '60s folk scene, see photos and other archival treasures, participate in a Q&A, and eat lunch. To end the day, local musician Elizabeth Butters will perform folk songs on the dulcimer, guitar, and musical saw (1:45 p.m.). Activities start at 9:30 a.m. $89 (repeats March 13 and 17). Club Passim, 47 Palmer St., Cambridge.
