The Raveonettes (above)

At Paradise Rock Club, tomorrow. The Danish garage-rock duo is touring in support of its well-titled third album, "Lust Lust Lust," a collection of woozy, nasty nuggets. Black Acid opens. Doors are at 7, the show starts at 8. Tickets are $14 at ticketmaster.com or 617-931-2000.

Morcheeba

At the Somerville Theatre, Thursday. Minus original singer Skye Edwards, Morcheeba returned to its downtempo, trip-hoppy roots with an assortment of guest singers on "Dive Deep," the band's new album. French vocalist Manda and British troubadour Bradley Burgess will be on the mike at the live show, which starts at 7:30. Tickets are $27.50 at ticketmaster.com or 617-931-2000.

They Might Be Giants

At the Somerville Theatre, Friday. With one foot in avant-geek pop and the other in educational discs for hipster kids, it's hard to know if you'll get "Birdhouse in Your Soul" or "D Is for Drums." Here's a clue: This show is 14-plus. At 7:30. Tickets are $25 at ticketmaster.com or 617-931-2000.
