Bob Dylan to perform at Virgin Mobile Festival in Baltimore
BALTIMORE—Bob Dylan has joined the lineup of the 3rd Virgin Mobile Festival at Pimlico Race Course on Aug. 9-10.
Other performers include The Offspring, Wilco, Iggy & The Stooges, Chuck Berry and previously announced acts Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, Kanye West, Nine Inch Nails and Stone Temple Pilots, according to a statement posted on the festival's Web site.
Plans call for two main stages at the race course and a dance tent spotlighting electronic music.
Last year, 74,000 people attended the event, which included performances by the Police, Smashing Pumpkins, the Beastie Boys and nearly 40 other groups.
Tickets go on sale Saturday.
