The all-volunteer Boston Pops Gospel Choir (also known as the Boston Community Choir) first joined the Boston Pops for Gospel Night 15 years ago. Since then the choir has become a staple of the Boston music community, playing local gigs with everyone from James Taylor to Phish. Tonight, the crew returns to Symphony Hall for this year's Gospel Night With the Pops, also featuring Grammy-nominated singer Oleta Adams, who is currently recording two new albums, one secular and one gospel. Charles Floyd will conduct. 8 p.m. $19-$87. Symphony Hall, 301 Massachusetts Ave., Boston. 617-266-1492. bso.org [N.Z.]
