Robbie Fulks has been mostly forsaking the road lately to concentrate on writing and recording, so tonight's gig at Club Passim is a rare chance to see him live. Fulks has been all over the map stylistically, penning silly country kids' songs ("Godfrey"), traditional honky tonk (his first two albums, "Country Love Songs" and "South Mouth"), blistering electric alt country ("Let's Kill Saturday Night"), and smoother, '70s-style country ("Georgia Hard"). What has remained consistent is the quality - he's never been less than engaging. Singer-songwriter Danny Click opens. 8 p.m. $20, $18 members. Club Passim, 47 Palmer St., Cambridge. 617-492-7679. clubpassim.com
