Bopping in Beverly

We're a sucker for "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" and "Funkytown," which means we're automatic fans of Kidz Bop Live, the high-energy troupe of young singers and dancers who specialize in rock concerts for kids - and in releasing lots of records. If you're not into the '80s (is this possible?), the shows also feature tunes by Justin Timberlake (with sanitized lyrics, when necessary), Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, and other pop royalty. Performances with a live band and a confetti-filled finale are for kids 4-11, but rockers of all ages have been seen dancing and singing in the aisles. (The group performs tomorrow in Gilford, N.H.) Today at 6 p.m. $20. North Shore Music Theatre, 62 Dunham Road, Beverly. 978-232-7200. nsmt.org
