Newport Music Festival - This festival, which presents chamber music in the mansions of Newport, wraps up its 40th season tonight with programs devoted to the virtuoso violin music of Eugene Ysaÿe and Niccolo Paganini, featuring violinists Emil Chudnovsky and Eugen Tichindeleanu. At 7 p.m. (Ysaÿe) at Ochre Court, and 9 p.m. (Paganini) at The Breakers, Newport, R.I., 401-846-1133 or newport music.org.

Monadnock Music Festival - James Bolle leads the festival orchestra in Weber's Overture to "Oberon," Beethoven's "Pastoral" Symphony, Grieg's piano concerto (with Konstantin Lifschitz) and Mark Kuss's new Rhapsody for cello and orchestra (with Rafael Popper-Keizer).
