Stella!

A band that says it's influenced by Justin Timberlake and the Killers plays Harpers Ferry tonight. The synth-pop act Stella by Starlight does manage to channel some of Justin's groove and the occasionally distorted post-punk vocal stylings of the Killers. Stella should be on its way to stardom thanks to MTV, which presented the band with an mtvU Woodie Award, which honor student-friendly music acts. Stella, which formed at Duke University, won for best music on campus. Joining the band will be the Simple Pleasure, Protean Collective, and Televandals. 9:30. $8.
