The Weisstronauts
Pete Weiss has put his stamp on a couple of dozen memorable albums from New England's best bands as a producer and sideman, from the Willard Grant Conspiracy and Charlie Chesterman to the Upper Crust. Given his track record, it might be easy to overlook Weiss's own music. But you can catch him tomorrow at Toad with the Weisstronauts, an all-instrumental band featuring three lead guitarists (including Weiss).
