Fans of venerable UK mod rockers the Jam will have their loyalties tested this month. Tonight at Berklee, ex-Jam singer/guitarist Paul Weller (above) plays in support of his latest solo album, "22 Dreams," a satisfyingly diverse collection with rock rave-ups (title track), Motown influences ("Have You Made Up Your Mind"), and dramatic ballads ("One Bright Star"). Those looking for Jam classics can head to Showcase Live Sept. 23 to see From the Jam playing the band's greatest hits, featuring original band rhythm-section members Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler. 7:30 p.m. $39.50. Berklee Performance Center, 136 Massachusetts Ave., Boston. 617-747-2261. www.berkleebpc.com [N. Z.]
