Tonight's Celtic Thunder show at the Agganis Arena offers a wide variety of pop with a bit of an Irish accent, from acoustic ballads to dramatic operatic tunes, sung by a cast of five ranging from 14-year-old Damian McGinty from County Derry to 40-year-old Glasgow native George Donaldson. All the bases are covered, from the young heartthrob with an acoustic guitar (Keith Harkin) to Dublin-born tenor Paul Byron. The show has enough of an elaborate set and orchestra to fill the stage at the Agganis, with enough broad, fist-clenchingly earnest moments to reach the back row. 8 p.m. $37.50-$57.50. Agganis Arena, 925 Commonwealth Ave., Boston. 617-931-2000. www.ticketmaster.com
