Almost 14 years after releasing the single "One of Us," a song that questioned whether God could be a lonely slob who takes the bus, Joan Osborne plays a show at the Somerville Theatre tonight to promote a new album, "Little Wild One." The disc has critics buzzing because she made it with the same folks who helped her with "Relish," the 1995 album that featured "One of Us." Osborne's new, "Wild" material is introspective, twangy, and possibly inspired by her stint singing with the Grateful Dead. 7:30 p.m. $28. Somerville Theatre, 55 Davis Square, Somerville.
