Those who spent the early 1990s wearing plaid and buying Gin Blossoms CDs should remember Dada, a band that had a hit single back then called "Dizz Knee Land." The act pretty much disappeared from the airwaves during the glittery pop boom at the end of the decade, but it kept making albums under the radar. You can sample the discography tonight when Dada plays its early hits and its more recent numbers at the Hard Rock Cafe. Opening will be Six Day Slide and Matt Lowell. 8 p.m. $17, $20.
