The power of 10

Sting once confessed to Tower of Power founder, Emilio Castillo, that he had a “Tower of Power clone band’’ before he formed the Police. The jazzy funk band has a new album, “The Great American Soulbook,’’ a collection of soul covers and groovy guest singers including Huey Lewis, Sam Moore, and Tom Jones.
