TOMORROW
It’s quite a weekend for the blues with elder statesman B.B. King visiting the South Shore for two concerts and Guy Davis playing at Club Passim tomorrow in Cambridge. Davis has been described as having a voice like “Howlin’ Wolf dipped in honey.’’ The self-taught guitar player was raised in the New York City area and learned about life in the rural South from his folks and grandparents. These stories wound up in Davis’s songs and stories. The singer, guitarist, harmonica player, and musical storyteller has appeared on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien’’ and Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion.’’ Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. $20. Club Passim, 47 Palmer St., Harvard Square, Cambridge. 617-492-7679. www.passimcenter.org![]()
