Marie Daulne, the larger-than-life mastermind behind the world-fusion band Zap Mama, used to have an iPod - several, in fact. “To tell the truth, I don’t have an iPod now,’’ she says. “I lose them all the time. I said, OK, I need something big and heavy that I won’t lose, like my computer.’’ With that in mind, her iTunes shuffle spit out a cornucopia of artists, from Fela Kuti to Jacques Brel, who have obviously shaped Zap Mama’s vibrant sound that bridges African and European influences. “This is all my world,’’ she says of the diversity. Zap Mama performs at the Paradise Rock Club on Monday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 at www.livenation.com or 877-598-8689.

1. “Sun Is Shining,’’ Bob Marley & the Wailers

2. “I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know,’’ Donny Hathaway

3. “Nightclubbing,’’ Grace Jones

4. “Ne me quitte pas,’’ Jacques Brel

5. “Soul Sista,’’ Bilal

6. “Libertango,’’ Astor Piazzolla

7. “The Traffic Jam,’’ Stephen Marley

8. “Things U Do,’’ Q-Tip

9. “Una Mujer,’’ Seu Jorge

10. “No Agreement,’’ Fela Kuti

Total songs: “Lord, lots. I have to have a backup hard drive because I have too much music. This is why an iPod is good.’’
