The Toronto-based symphonic indie-pop group, the Hidden Cameras is described as having radical queer politics, and the group describes itself as “gay church folk music.’’ The band, formed by singer-songwriter-guitarist Joel Gibb, is known for its exuberant live shows which have graced churches, art galleries, and soccer fields - and tonight will fill the Brattle Theatre. “Origin: Orphan’’ is the group’s new release.
