The Boston-based Jubilee Trio has a vast repertoire of American art songs and African-American spirituals and gets its name from the Hebrew scriptures description of the year of Jubilee: a time when slaves were freed, debts were canceled, and wrongs were redressed. True to its name, the threesome of (from left) baritone Robert Honeysucker, pianist Leslie Amper, and contralto Marion Dry will perform “Songs of Struggle and Triumph’’ in a concert with Chorus North Shore. The program features songs from the trio’s latest recording, “Let’s Have a Union.’’ Nov. 15 at 3 p.m. followed by a reception with the artists. $20. Our Lady of Hope Church, corner of Linebrook and Pineswamp roads, Ipswich. 978-525-4831. www.chorusnorthshore.org
