Despite the fact that the band is pushing 30, Sonic Youth remains an indie rock favorite. Maybe it’s their talent with titles (their latest release is “The Eternal’’). Perhaps it’s that they continue to draw a huge fan base. Or it could just be that their music is good. Whatever the case, through all the personnel changes and record-label hopping, the band doesn’t get old. It plays two shows at the Wilbur, the first with openers the Feelies and the second with the Meat Puppets. Tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. Also Nov. 23. The Wilbur Theatre, 246 Tremont St., Boston. 800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com
