A search period of over two years concludes today as Emmanuel Music has announced that Ryan Turner will be its next artistic director, succeeding the ensemble’s founding leader Craig Smith, who died in 2007. The composer John Harbison has served as acting music director since that time, but will step down at the end of this season. (Full article: 602 words)
