One has to be thankful for any effort to take classical music out of the usual tightly sealed concert format. And when Boston’s oldest music organization, the Handel and Haydn Society, attempted “A Musical Salon’’ at Jordan Hall on Friday, you heard some air coming out of the tin. (Full article: 561 words)
