While Osvaldo Golijov was writing his breakthrough piece, “La Pasión según San Marcos,’’ he kept a postcard of Picasso’s 1930 painting “Crucifixion’’ on his piano. The picture — vibrant and surreal — now adorns the cover of a recording of the “Pasión,’’ released earlier this week on the Deutsche Grammophon label. (Full article: 829 words)
