Joanne McNeil is a curator of ideas; she displays them at the Tomorrow Museum (www.tomorrowmuseum.com), a smart, scintillating blog that explores the intersection of art, science, technology, and economics. The latter is eerily pertinent to McNeil’s music collection; more than half of the 10 tracks that popped up when the South Shore native set her iPod to shuffle had numbers in the song title. “Sometimes when I’m on random it’s not random at all,’’ says McNeil, who is working on a book of essays. “It’s like a conspiracy.’’

1. “Disorder,’’ Joy Division

2. “Lysine,’’ Max Tundra

3. “Trimm Trabb,’’ Blur

4. “400 Winters,’’ Bark Psychosis

5. “0078h,’’ M83

6. “70 K9 Man,’’ Brainiac

7. “60 Miles an Hour,’’ New Order

8. “53’20,’’ Karlheinz Stockhausen

9. “40 Days,’’ Slowdive

10. “37 Pushups,’’ Smog

Total songs: “12 days’ worth’’

Glad we missed: “I have, like, every version of the ‘Doctor Who’ theme song because I love Delia Derbyshire so much.’’
