You’ve heard of the rock opera, but singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell put a spin on that concept last year. The Vermont singer-songwriter wrote a folk opera called “Hadestown,’’ based on the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Mitchell brings “Hadestown,’’ which is also an album, to Somerville Theatre tonight with a who’s who of Americana musicians - including Mitchell, Sean Hayes, Tim Gearan, Amy Correia, Ben T. Matchstick, and Paper Bird - inhabiting the various roles.
