Whitney Houston was one of the last things we could agree on. Whether it was unabashed fandom or a secret guilty pleasure, there was probably a Whitney Houston tune that set your toes tapping or keyed into something in your heart. Her style or song choice may have been the antithesis of someone’s taste but thanks to the power of her magnificent instrument and the way she controlled it, there was no argument about its quality.
