The 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards were taped at the Atlantic Civic Center in Atlanta on Sept. 29. The ceremony, which was hosted by comedian Mike Epps, featured performances by a slew of hip-hop biggest acts including Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, and 50 Cent. Despite a scuffle erupting backstage between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy, the show will still air on Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. as planned.
