Whimsy; whimsical; won over

Yeah, The Handsome Family played on Tuesday, and I was out of town, and didn't get to see the set. But I've seen Brett and Rennie Sparks before, and it was one of those affecting sort of experiences that really good Americana bands can create -- all beat-up mythologies and philosophies and a touch of something comfortable, like an old pair of boots. So, in short, if you don't have the new(ish) "Last Days of Wonder," I'd recommend buying it. That's my plug. Have a good weekend, y'all.
