She Still Loves Rock n Roll

Joan Jett looks better than you. And she rocks harder too.
At 46 Joan's still making it happen. Friday night at Avalon, poured into black leather pants and vest, the mischievously grinning New Yorker and the current incarnation of the Blackhearts mixed up the classics with strong tunes from her newest album "Sinner" .
We were particularly partial to the smoking Sweet cover "AC/DC" and the politicized Jett-fuel of "Five," which is probably not on the President's iPod. Plus it's always fun to fist pump to "I Hate Myself For Loving You." Good times.
