Do you like trombones? Do you like large collectives of talented yet quirky musicians? Do you like the holiday season? Are you a fan of giving?

If you answered yes to any of the above than tonight's "3rd or 4th Annual Boston Christmas Cavalcade" by the Chandler Travis Philharmonic and many, many friends is just the ticket to merriment you're seeking.

The benefit show at Johnny D's in Somerville will feature a wide variety of music-- and lots of trombone players-- thanks to the Philharmonic, Jennifer Kimball, Jon Pousette-Dart, Robin Lane, Amy Fairchild,The Revolutionary Snake Ensemble, Shaun Wortis, Andrea Gillis, The Shook Fambly Singers, Frank Rowe and more.

Start time is 8:30 and a suggested cover of $15.00 will go to Bread and Jams of Cambridge, which provides food, shelter, and assistance to the homeless.
