Stevie Wonder has decided to take a chance and make it happen.

The soul music legend announced today that he will be embarking on his first tour in more than a decade. The thirteen date "A Wonder Summer's Night" jaunt kicks off in San Diego later this month and will conclude with a show September 20 at the Bank of America Pavilion.

In a statement announcing the dates Wonder said "I am looking forward to performing in these venues under the stars. We are going to have some wonderful nights of intimate excitement."

Ticket details have yet to be announced but we'll have them when they are.

In the meantime, here's our favorite example of Stevie poking fun at himself.
