Jay-Z has taped an episode of VH1's "Storytellers" to coincide with the release of his new album "American Gangster," out next Tuesday. (The disc is not a soundtrack to the Denzel Washington/Russell Crowe film out this Friday but was inspired by a sneak preview of it.)

The show, airing Nov. 8 at 9 p.m., finds Jigga waxing lyrical about his lyrical waxing on "Gangster" and a few of his previous hits complete with a horn section and a dj.
