Following in the footsteps of Radiohead, Paste magazine is offering one-year subscriptions for however much your little rock 'n' roll heart wants to pony up. For the record, Sound Effects subscribes to Paste. It's neither agressively hip nor egregiously commercial. They cover new weirdos and beloved veterans (e.g. Beck, not Eric Clapton). Each month's issue comes with a most excellent compilation CD. So search your soul and open your wallet accordingly.
