Hard times for the Abbey Lounge

The taxman is coming after the Abbey Lounge in Inman Square. The club, a longtime neighborhood bar and music venue, is facing closure due to mounting debt inherited from the club's previous owner, and to help raise money the Abbey has scheduled a week of benefit shows, starting Sunday. Among the bands playing are Muck & the Mires, Rock Bottom, the Konks, and Diamond Mines. Click here for a complete schedule.
