Letters to Cleo Reunite: Here and a little later

Start limbering up those lips because Boston rockers Letters to Cleo are reuniting for a brief reunion tour and you don't want to be the one person in the Paradise not rocking the tongue-twisting lyrics to "Here and Now" do ya?

The band will be doing four shows: one in L.A. (where half the band now lives), one in New York, and two in Boston at the Paradise Dec. 8 and 9.

The group got the reunion bug at the benefits for Jeanne Sheehy last fall at T.T. the Bear's Place. In a press release "USA" Mike Eisenstein said after the excitement of that gig the band decided to "find a time to do it for real." The personnel for the shows will include original members Eisenstein and Greg McKenna on guitars, Kay Hanley (Mrs. Eisenstein) on vocals, Stacy Jones on drums, and Joe Klompus subbing for original bassist Scott Riebling.

Maybe we can convince Kay to put her hair back in these pigtails for the occasion?

  1. HOLY [Expletive!] I found out about this just in time! I think I would have committed ritual suicide had I missed the Roxy show! I've been hoping for this for a long time!
