Sam Zell hearts the Eagles

The newspaper business may be struggling, but that's not stopping Chicago Tribune owner Sam Zell from shelling out for the Eagles to perform at his 67th birthday party later this month, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Zell is no stranger to hiring high-wattage entertainers: past soirees have featured the likes of Elton John, Aretha Franklin, the Beach Boys, Bette Midler, and Little Richard.
