Taking the Bait: Phish Reunites

Billboard is reporting that, as expected, Vermont-based jam band Phish is powering back up the machine. (The photo above is from the group's farewell fete in 2004, where the members danced with their mums. Awww.)

At the moment all that's on the table is a three night stand slated for March 6-8 at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, VA. (Check out the groovy video of an artist "painting" the announcement on Phish's website.) But it looks like more touring plans are afoot for 2009.

  1. Best. News. Ever.
I was so excited placing my ticket order yesterday AM, even though I doubt I'll come away w/ any tickets. It was just fantastic to be looking at Phish dates again, trying for tickets and e-mail threading w/ old friends about it. Combined w/ Lester's dominant outing for the Sawx, yesterday was indeed a good day.
