Damn it, Janet!

Well, it turns out Janet Jackson doesn't want to rock witchu after all. More than a month after she started mysteriously postponing concerts -- was it vertigo? lousy ticket sales? or was it really migraines, as a spokesman claimed? -- Live Nation announced today that the rest of Jackson's rescheduled concerts for the "Rock Witchu" tour have been canceled. That includes her stop at the TD Banknorth Garden, originally planned for Oct. 1, and her Oct. 11 show at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

The reason? Dubious: "due to conflicts in the singer’s schedule." You know the drill: Refunds available at point of purchase.

That's too bad because from the sound of Jon Pareles's New York Times review of her Madison Square Garden concert this past Saturday, it sounded like the show was pretty good. Well, guess there's always that Jackson 5 reunion tour to look forward to. Or not.
