Al Green doesn't need help laying it down...

Okay the night's first big team-up: Boyz II Men, Keith Urban, Justin Timberlake, and Al Green on the Rev's timeless "Let's Stay Together." Wow, Al is killing it, especially that last long high note. He played Showcase Live in November and the whole show was that good. All the guests are fine but superfluous. It's too bad that they're only letting him sing an old one though, since he has a great new album "Lay it Down" out. (Which just lost the Best R&B Album category.) They could've thrown the man a new verse. Just saying.

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss approve and so do we.
